Estate Planning for Business Owners

Your business is part of your legacy. Coordinate your personal estate plan with your ownership interests so your family — and your business — aren’t left guessing.

We work with business owners in Winter Garden and Horizon West to coordinate their estate and business planning.

What to coordinate

Your plan and your business should work together

Business interests often pass by different rules than your other assets. Your operating or shareholder agreement may restrict who can own an interest, and without planning, your business could end up tied up in probate when it needs a decision-maker most.

Scope

Coordinating your personal estate plan with your business is part of our planning process. Sophisticated business succession planning, estate-tax planning, and advanced asset-protection structures are outside the standard flat-fee packages and quoted separately.
